Information

Location & Map

As usual, HBMF is being held in Alexandra Park, Hastings. Here’s the full address: Alexandra Park, St Helens Road/Lower Park Road, Hastings, East Sussex.

You can view it on Google Maps (link opens in a new window)

Car parking is very limited near the site. There’s no dedicated visitor car park, so you’d need to park in the centre of Hastings (about a 10 minute walk). We recommend you travel by train, bus, or on foot.

Ticket Prices

Tickets for Saturday Evening (7th July) cost £12 on the door, or £10 when you purchase in advance. Ticket prices for Fri Evening (6th July) will be announced soon along with other exciting news for the event – watch this space!

Tickets for the Saturday afternoon family day are: £2 for adults; £1 for children; or £5 for a family ticket (2 adults & 3 children). You can only buy these on the gate.

Tickets are not transferable or refundable. No re-admittance. Ticket covers admittance for that day only. Tickets for Saturday Family-Fun Afternoon do not cover admittance to Saturday night. The management reserve the right to refuse admittance.

Opening Times

Friday & Saturday nights: gates open at 6pm. Open til 11:30pm with live music until 11:00 pm.

Saturday Family-Fun Afternoon is open 12pm – 5pm.

The arena will be completely cleared of members of the public before the start of Saturday night gets underway.

Food & Drinks

There will be a host of local food vendors catering food & snacks for all tastes.

We want HBMF to be a great value night out, so we’re keeping the drink prices as low as possible with most drinks priced at just £3.00! There will also be a range of soft drinks available.

No alcohol or glass to be brought into the arena.

Bar Selection

There’s a selection of over 80 different ales, bitters, milds, and stouts. We have tasting notes for each of the beers to view on the night.

Cider lovers have the choice of Kent-produced Biddenden Cider or Kingston Press.

Alternatively, you can buy red and white wine – and bubbly – by the glass, or treat yourself to a refreshing glass of Pimms. A selection of soft drinks are also available.

Other Questions & Info

Are under-18s allowed?

The Thurs Proms night and Our Saturday Family-Fun Afternoon is suitable for families and kids of any ages (although nobody under 18 is allowed at the bar or permitted to drink alcohol). Friday night is 14+ (14-16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult) and Saturday evening events are over 18’s only. Proof of age may be requested at the gate for these events.

Are dogs allowed?

No, I’m afraid we don’t allow dogs in the festival arena. We do allow guide dogs.

Disabled Info

Disabled toilet facilities are available. There is disabled access to the site via the park ramp, accessible from the junction of St Helen’s Road and Dordrecht Way.

Unfortunately we have no designated disabled parking areas.
